In recent years, demand for passive components in areas, including cloud computing, new energy, automotive electronics, and next-generation communication protocols, has been steadily increasing. A national action plan intends to raise the domestic content of core components and materials to 70% by 2025. This further highlights the importance of securing an autonomous and controllable supply of key electronic components to ensure the security and integrity of China's electronic component industry chain. To achieve this objective, the government has introduced multiple industrial policies to encourage and support the independent and controllable development of core electronic components.

Integrated circuits constitute the core of the modern industrial system. Integrated circuits are widely used in computers, communications, industrial control, medical, consumer electronics, automotive, and other sectors. They serve as the critical components of most electronic devices and cover numerous technical domains, presenting high entry barriers.

By 2025, mature sensor technologies—including semiconductor, optical, and traditional sensors (electromechanical, electrochemical)—will lead the global sensor market. Commercialized sensor technologies will capture shares across most vertical markets, including automotive, aerospace, industrial, consumer electronics, healthcare, and environmental sectors.

electronica China 2025 successfully concluded this April, and electronica China 2026 is just around the corner! electronica China 2026 will take place from July 1–3, 2026, in Halls W1–W5 and N1–N5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The exhibition will expand to nearly 120,000 square meters, with plans to welcome over 1,800 high-quality domestic and international exhibitors, and an expected attendance of more than 70,000 professional visitors.

The 3-day electronica China 2025 came to a successful close today at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This year’s event brought together 1,794 well-known domestic and international industry brands, covered an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, and attracted 66,960 professional visitors. At the show, vibrant interactions between exhibitors and visitors created sparks of innovation, further contributing to the success of the event.
