The Pickering Group is comprised of: Pickering Electronics–our relay division, Pickering Interfaces–our switching and simulation division and Pickering Connect–our connection division. Together we deliver high-quality switching and simulation products, as well as a full range of standard and custom cable and connector solutions.We have been in switching technology since 1968 when our relay division was formed to design, manufacture, and distribute high-quality reed relays. Since their introduction, these relays have been implemented by most major test and measurement companies throughout the world. Twenty years later, our switching and simulation division was formed and became an early innovator with the introduction of its PXI switching modules and now offer over 1,000 PXI, PCI, LXI & USB products along with diagnostic test tools and application software and software drivers.
In 2005, Pickering opened a manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic to design and manufacture cable and connector solutions to ease the integration of its products into functional test systems. With the increase in the number of requests of these connectivity products for applications outside of the test and measurement industry, in 2014, we decided to establish the connectivity division, a new subsidiary for customers seeking standard and custom connectivity solutions.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom we have two manufacturing facilities — in the UK and the Czech Republic. We also have sales and support offices located throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.
