Safety Challenges and Connectivity Requirements for User-side Energy Storage
With the popularity of electric vehicles and the continous efforts in the cost reduction and efficiency improvement in batteries, the application of user-side energy storage has increased gradually. It could provide stable power supply and cost advantegy by peak-valley balance in electricity consumption to industrial and commercial enterprises. However, as the application environment is complex and the consequences of any accidents could be serious, the safety requirements are strict. This presentation introduces the safety challenges and explores the requirements of the connectivity solutions for the user-side energy storage systems with the experience in the electrical vehicles.
